First off, Moms and Dads, let us start off by saying— you are a ROCKSTAR.
Day in, day out — no matter how tired you are, how many things are on your schedule, or how you’re feeling — you are there for your kids. Through every tantrum and all the tears, bumps, and bruises, you are keeping them safe and fed and clothed and loved.
We think that’s a big deal, and you deserve all the awards.
Let’s face it— parenting in today’s busy and stressed world is hard work.
It’s hard to find time to focus on yourself and your own needs. And that it’s easy to become overwhelmed, frustrated, and burned out as a parent in today’s busy modern world.
ParentSquad thinks parents are amazing and that they deserve to have fun too. That’s why ParentSquad is on a mission to help make it easier for moms and dads to find time to focus on themselves.
We specialize in creating opportunities for parents to connect, relax, and have fun. We partner with local companies to organize unique events for parents, and our on-site childcare service provides safe and convenient childcare for event attendees.
To create exceptional opportunities for parents of young children to connect, relax, and have fun— because they deserve it!
A happier and kinder world where every parent feels supported, appreciated, happy, and fulfilled
Hello there! I’m Danielle — proud mom and founder of ParentSquad.
Becoming a mother has been the most amazing, hilarious, and rewarding experience of my life. But let’s be real here — it’s also been overwhelming, stressful, and frustrating.
Until I had a kid, I didn’t realize how much freedom I had to lose. Easy things like getting a beer after work with co-workers, swinging by a networking event, or taking a quick yoga class became monumental scheduling headaches.
I honestly found that it was easier to sit on the couch and feel isolated and drained than figure out the logistics of planning an outing and making childcare arrangements. But that got old real quick...
I started dreaming of a place where I could go and have dedicated time to pursue my own interests, reconnect with my spouse, and make new friends. I wanted childcare to be available on-site, so I wouldn’t have to find a babysitter or feel the guilt of asking the grandparents to babysit yet again. I mentioned this dream to a few other parents, and right away, it was clear that others were wishing for this too.
After a few months of planning, I decided to go for it and make this dream a reality, despite having a toddler at home and a full time job to occupy my days. I’m building this business one baby step at a time. Most of my work occurs during nap times, after bedtimes, in cars while I’m nap-trapped, at the table while dinner cooks, and on the couch while my toddler plays.
I hope you are as excited as I am for the future of ParentSquad. I promise to do everything I can to make sure that the reality of ParentSquad lives up to the dream. Connect with me on Instagram or Facebook, and email me anytime with ideas or feedback.
