A healthier and kinder world full of happy parents and kids

Hello there! I’m Danielle — proud mom, founder, and owner of ParentSquad.

Becoming a mother has been the most amazing, hilarious, and rewarding experience of my life. But let’s be real here — it’s also been overwhelming, stressful, and frustrating.

Until I had a kid, I didn’t realize how much freedom I had to lose. Easy things like a beer after work with co-workers or a quick yoga class became monumental scheduling headaches.

I found that it was easier to sit on the couch and feel isolated and drained than figure out the logistics of planning an outing and finding a babysitter. But that got old real quick...

I started dreaming of a place where I could go and have dedicated time to pursue my own interests, reconnect with my spouse, and make new friends. I wanted childcare to be available on-site, so I wouldn’t have to find a babysitter or feel the guilt of asking the grandparents to babysit yet again. I mentioned this dream to a few other parents, and right away, it was clear that others were wishing for this too.

After a few months of planning, I decided to go for it and make this dream a reality, despite having a toddler at home and a full time job to occupy my days. I’m building this business one baby step at a time. Most of my work occurs during nap times, after bedtimes, in cars while I’m nap-trapped, at the table while dinner cooks, and on the couch while my toddler plays.

I hope you are as excited as I am for the future of ParentSquad. I promise to do everything I can to make sure that the reality of ParentSquad lives up to the dream. Connect with me on Instagram or Facebook, and email me anytime with ideas or feedback.
