Hello! I’m Lindsey, and I’m excited to join the ParentSquad team! For the past three years, I’ve worked as a Guest Experience Manager at Holden Village, a outdoor ministry camp for youth and adults located in the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. Prior to that, I worked as the Program Director for Bethel Horizons where I oversaw summer camps and year-round programming. I have a degree in Art Therapy from Edgewood College along with minors in art and psychology.
In my free time, I enjoy photography, hiking, and travel. In April 2019, I will be walking the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile walk across northern Spain.
Hi there! My name is Alaria, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support and encourage parents in the Madison area by keeping their kiddos are in safe hands as they let loose and relax!
Here’s a little about my background and experience: I received my degree in Child, Youth and Family Studies (and Spanish) from UW-Stevens Point, and I have spent several years working in a variety of settings supporting healthy child development, fostering Infant Mental Health, and encouraging new parents through the tough times. I have worked as a lead teacher at an elite child development center, a home visitor for a Birth-to-Three program, an infant nanny, and a Head Start family outreach worker. I recently earned my Infant Family Associate Endorsement through the WI-Alliance for Infant Mental Health, and I also serve on the board for the Wisconsin Council for Family Relations.
